When will the app launch?
Kudos is in active development. The current goal is to launch on iOS and Android in mid-to-late 2026. Join the waitlist today and tell your friends to help build our community from day one!

Kudos is being built in the Phoenix, Arizona metro area, but you're welcome to join the waitlist wherever you live!
What are all the ways I can earn Kudos and Yikes?
There are many ways and the full list isn't public yet. There are some ways that are obvious, such as ghosting someone. Others are more subtle, but the app will show you how to improve. If you treat others with respect and consideration, you'll have nothing to worry about.
Are Kudos and Yikes decided by a human, AI, or algorithm?
Kudos and Yikes will always be applied by fellow users or by the app itself. Kudos and Yikes will never be applied by an AI model or LLM.
What if someone Yikes me unfairly?
Yikes won't be able to be weaponized or used for petty retribution.
For example, a person can only Yike your profile before you match,
and they can only Yike a message you send for a short timeframe after
you send it.
If you truly believe you've been Yiked unfairly, you can also dispute
it. This may result in the Yikes being removed from your profile.
How do you keep it fair?
Not all Kudos and Yikes are created equal. Most will depend on the
context of the situation. For example, the Kudos for sending the
first message will fall off over time, and the Yikes for not
responding will increase over time.
Furthermore, profiles
with low Kudos have less impact on others from the scores they give.
Will Kudos be free?
There will be a daily activity limit on unsubscribed accounts. A
modest subscription unlocks the full app features, including the
ability to see all your Kudos, Yikes, and more information about how
your profile is doing.
People may pay to earn small
amounts of Kudos. Paying real money to an app is a strong indicator
that somebody is serious about dating. If they aren't, they'll get
enough Yikes anyway that they'll end up right back where they
started.
Can I delete my account to reset my Kudos?
No. Deleted accounts may not rejoin the app until a several-month-long waiting period expires, so you've got to roll with what you've got.
How do I avoid Yikes for ghosting matches I'm not interested in?
Simple solution: be honest. Send them a message and then close the match.
